Halloween at Sansome

Are you wondering about upcoming Halloween Events at Sansome?

Halloween is fast approaching and we want to make sure our community is well aware of our upcoming school events.

Friday, October 28th - Costumes, Costume Parade and Class Parties

All classroom parties and our school's costume parade will occur on Friday, October 28th.  Students are welcome to wear their costumes in their backpacks and will be given time to change once they come in from outdoor recess.

Our school Halloween Parade will begin at 1:30 in the gym.  All parents and community members are welcome to join us for this annual event.

Monday, October 31st - Black and Orange Day

Teachers have already been planning for a day of fun with Halloween activities, art, games.  Our annual Halloween Gym will also be happening that day for all students.

Please do not send costumes or classroom "treats" on this day ... instead, save them for a fun night of Trick or Treating within the Sansome Community.

If you're child is feeling festive then we are encouraging all students to wear Black and Orange that day to celebrate the evening.

Mom's Pantry and Shelmerdine's Fundraiser

Order forms and information will be sent home with students today for our annual Mom's Pantry and Shelmerdine's School Fundraiser.

Please return all orders to your child's homeroom teacher on or before November 16th.  All Cheques are to be made payable to Sansome Parent Council and orders will be available for pick up at Sansome School at 4pm on November 30th.

Please be sure to completely fill out all sections of the order forms and include your child's name for pick up purposes.  If you are unable to pick up your order, please make arrangements to have someone pick up your order for you.

Thank you for your support in helping us raise our fundraising goals!

Sansome Tabs for Wheelchairs

Sansome School has an ongoing collection of pop can tabs being collected in the foyer.  A number of our grade 4 students want to ensure that our community knows that this donation bin exists and that we are collecting tabs to donate for those in need of a wheelchair.  The tabs will be sold to Western Scrap Metals, Inc. and we will use the money earned to donate to local hospitals to purchase wheelchairs and/or specialty bicycles for those in need.
